Dear Member of the Ada Exempted Village School Community:
The Ada Board of Education has contracted with the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) to assist in our search for a new superintendent. The board hopes to complete the search in the spring and the new superintendent is expected to begin work in our district this summer.
In our effort to make the best possible selection, we have included in the search process a time for OSBA consultant Quinn Maceyko to meet with our staff and community to conduct several focus groups. The focus groups are intended to help augment the profile we have developed for Ada's next leader. Common themes will help us as we evaluate potential candidates. These conversations will take place on Wednesday, February 7 at 6pm

Ada's music department emerged as a formidable force, presenting a remarkable array of performances that captivated both audiences and judges alike.
Ada had an impressive lineup, comprising 27 solos and 4 ensembles, all poised to compete at the highest level. The dedication and skill of Ada's students were evident as each participant garnered accolades, with every performance earning either superior or excellent ratings. This remarkable feat marks Ada's most significant showing at OMEA in over a decade, a testament to the relentless pursuit of musical excellence within the community.
Among the standout performances were 11 vocal solos, each a testament to the depth of talent nurtured within Ada's music department. Six of these vocal solos earned the coveted distinction of superior ratings, underscoring the exceptional caliber of Ada's vocalists. Additionally, five vocal solos were awarded excellent ratings, further solidifying Ada's reputation for delivering performances of the highest caliber.
In the instrumental realm, Ada's ensembles and soloists showcased their extraordinary skill and precision. The instrumental ensembles garnered accolades with one superior rating and three excellent ratings, while instrumental soloists wowed with their virtuosity, earning nine superior ratings and three excellent ratings. Each performance was a testament to the dedication and talent nurtured within Ada's instrumental program.
