🏋️♀️🥈🎉 We are thrilled to announce that Kennedy Jones, a Junior at Ada High School, has achieved an incredible feat at the 36th Annual Bill McClain State Powerlifting Competition! 🎉🥈🏋️♀️
Competing among the best in Divisions 5, 6, and 7 at Kenton High School on Saturday, March 16th, Kennedy showcased her exceptional strength and determination. She secured an outstanding second place in her class with an impressive performance:
💪 Squat: 330 lbs
💪 Deadlift: 305 lbs
💪 Bench Press: 165 lbs
This remarkable effort culminated in a total lift of 800 lbs, marking a phenomenal 60 lbs increase from her regional performance! 🌟 Notably, Kennedy's bench press of 165 lbs not only contributed to her second-place finish but also set a new state record, surpassing the previous record held by Bianca Phongphiou of Montpelier High School. 🏆🎖️
In recognition of her achievements, Kennedy received medals for her 2nd place finish and top bench press. Additionally, for breaking a meet record, she was honored with a special gift bag from McDonald's, who generously sponsored the competition. 🎁
Kennedy's dedication, strength, and sportsmanship have brought immense pride to Ada High School. Let's congratulate her on this outstanding accomplishment and continue to support her journey in powerlifting! 🎊💪 #Ada #bulldogs #PowerliftingChampion #HardWorkPaysOff

🌟 Ada Schools Shines Bright at Regional Spelling Bee! 🌟
We're bursting with pride to announce that Maeby from Ada Schools clinched 2nd place in the fiercely competitive Regional Spelling Bee! 🥈🐝 Her remarkable performance was nothing short of inspiring, showcasing her dedication, intellect, and passion for language.
Competing against 37 other schools, Ada stood tall as Maeby battled her way through each round with grace and skill. While narrowly missing the opportunity to advance to the nationals, Maeby's achievement undoubtedly places Ada Schools among the top contenders in the region!
Although we don't have definitive records, we suspect this might be one of our highest finishes yet. 🌟
