October 28th – 2 Hour Early Dismissal for Teacher-In-Service
October 31st – Cap & Gown orders will be taken at Apollo @7:30 AM

A reminder for students who walk home: Walkers are not permitted to leave through the front entrances of the building. All walkers must exit through the south doors or at the end of the high school hallway.

Pack the Pound
Tonight the Ada varsity girls’ volleyball team will compete in first round of the sectional tournament against Marion Local. The game will start at 6:00 and be held in the Ada gym. We need to show up and support or team! If you attend the volleyball game on October 16th, cheer on the team the entire game and are a student in grade 9-12, you will be eligible to participate in an "Open Campus Lunch" on the following Thursday 10/23/14. Make sure to check in with Mr. Lee at the ticket table to get your name added to the list for attending the game or you will not be able to participate.

STUDENT COUNCIL: Tickets for the Homecoming dance will be on sale at lunch beginning Tuesday, Oct. 21. Single tickets are $8 and couple tickets are $15. You must have a ticket to attend the dance and there will be no tickets sold at the dance. Apollo students, please stop in the library before or after school to purchase tickets. See Mrs. Smith or Mrs. Bowden with any questions.

REMINDER TO PAY SCHOOL FEES: If you owe school fees, in order to attend the homecoming dance a payment ($5 or more) will need to be made to purchase a ticket for the dance. Also, if payment has not been made by October 23rd you will not receive your grade card and Progress Book privileges will be denied. Stop in the high school office and speak to Mrs. Pifer.

Dogs Volunteers - This Friday please be sure to turn in your "reflection form C" and time sheet for the first 9 weeks to Mrs. Temple at the end of the day. You will be able to pick up your new time sheets for the next nine weeks at that time as well.

JUNIORS & SENIORS: There will be a Hardin County Family Information Night presented by Rhodes State College about the college admissions process, financial aid and other info at Kenton High School in their cafeteria on Tues., Oct. 21st at 6:0 pm

HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK: No School on Oct. 20th, Tues. Oct 21st: Wear your favorite Halloween costume, Wed., Oct. 22nd: Peg those jeans, flip those collars, tease that hair, and show us your bet 80’s fashion! Thus, Oct.23rd Anti- Spirit Day Show spirit for other schools in the NWC, dress in their colors! Fri. Oct. 24th Bulldog Spirit Day: Dress in your school spirit and cheer on your bulldogs!

VOLLEYBALL: Tickets will be six dollars for adults and four dollars for students for tonight's Sectional Semifinal volleyball match between Marion Local and Ada High School in Ada. In accordance with Northwest District Tournament policy no presale tickets will be sold and only Northwest District passes will be honored.
SOCCER: Tickets will be six dollars for adults and four dollars for students for Saturday afternoon's boys’ soccer Sectional match between Old Fort and Ada High School at War Memorial Park, game time 5:00p.m. In accordance with northwest district policy admission will be charged and only northwest district passes will be honored.

HIGH SCHOOL PICTURES FOR 7 – 12 GRADE WILL BE TAKEN OCTOBER 23: Order forms were passed out last week. Pick out the package you want, complete the order form and bring order and payment to school with you on Oct. 23rd. Pictures will need to be paid for day of pictures. Pictures will be taken in the Band room. Extra order forms are available in the high school office.

GIRL’S HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER TEAM: Congratulations to the following Girls’ Soccer players for earning All- Conference awards. Grace and Katelyn Honorable Mention, Rielyn 2nd Team and Sidney 1st Team. Good luck this Saturday in your tournament game vs Riverdale.
