BOYS SOCCER TEAM: Final score Ada 9 MC 3L. Williams- 2 goals, W. Jolliff- 1, N. Pinkney- 3, N Allen- 1, C Reyes- 2 goals- 2 assists & Gamble 7 saves.
The Bulldog girl’s tennis team shutout Lima Senior Monday night at Collett and move to 2-1 on the season. Picking up wins for the bulldogs in singles were Meredith, Libbie and Shelby. In Doubles the tandems of Melina / Paige and Calle / Sam were victorious. The Bulldogs hit the courts tonight at Ada Park against undefeated Upper Sandusky.

GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: St Henry beat Ada last night in volleyball 25-10 25-9 25-12. Maddie had 2 aces 7 assists 1 kill 3 digs. Melina had 6 kills 5 digs, Haley had 4 kills. JV lost 25-12 25-8.

Student Council will have a meeting this Thursday during lunch in the Media Center. Please plan to pack your lunch and report directly to the Media Center as we have a lot of information to cover. See Mrs Smith or Mrs. Bowden with any questions or conflicts.

Juniors taking CP English: Mrs. Smith has books from the Ada Public Library to help you on your search for this nine week's independent reading selections. Please stop in the library to pick one up this week.

Attention Senior AP English students: The Ada Public Library as multiple copies of your required reading on hold for you. Please stop this week to pick up your copy.

Book Club is back! Get your copy of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children from the library and read the book before the movie comes out next month! Our first meeting of this school year will be Friday, September 16. See Mrs. Smith with any questions.
The library is holding a contest to see what you read this summer---stop in for contest details and your chance to win! Students and staff will also be entered into a drawing for any new books checked out between now and Friday, August 26. Stop in the library for details.

HS QUIZ BOWL: Any student in grades 9-12 who is interested in being a member of this year’s quiz bowl team should meet in Mr. Lusk’s room at 7:45 am on Wednesday, August 25th.

ATTENTION ADA HIGH SCHOOL LADIES WHO ARE JUNIORS AND SENIORS, AGES 16-18: Applications are now available for the Ada Area Chamber of Commerce Harvest & Herb Festival Queen Contest. The Festival this year is Saturday, Sept. 17th, 2016. Applications can be picked up in the Ada High School office or by contacting Mrs. Arlene Allison in the elementary. The deadline to enter is Wed., Sept. 7th, 2016 at 5:00 pm.

Attention anyone interested in Film Club: We will be having our first meeting on Wednesday, August 24th, at 7:00 pm in Mr. Ames' room. Also, T-Shirt forms are available in Mr. Ames' room. $9 for S-XL and $11 for XXL-XXXL. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Ames.
